Mary Zheng

Mary Zheng is a first-generation Chinese American writer. A former AmeriCorps and Peace Corps volunteer, for now she lives in Philadelphia where she works as an emergency department social worker. She is currently working on a book about her year solo hitchhiking and busking around the Mediterranean without a single plan other than learning to trust in this world–a time when she broke bread with refugees and anarchists alike in an attempt to understand what it means to be human.
