Hussain Ahmed is a Nigerian poet and environmentalist. His works are featured or forthcoming in POETRY, Kenyon Review, Transition Magazine, AGNI and elsewhere. He is currently an MFA candidate in poetry at the University of Mississippi. He is the author of Harp in a Fireplace (New Found, 2021) and Soliloquy with the Ghosts in Nile (Black Ocean, 2022). He lives in Oxford.
