His work has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker.com, The Paris Review Daily, The Believer, The Atlantic, Gizmodo, and Film Comment, among other outlets. He is the recipient of fellowships from The MacDowell Colony, The Edward F. Albee Foundation, and The National Critics Institute. He co-hosts the podcast Totally Trans: Searching for the Trans Canon.
